Urbis Lighting employs a large team of highly qualified Lighting Design Engineers, who are normally based at the Basingstoke headquarters and at the Northern Regional Office in Bradford. They are also able to visit customers' offices and sites to assist in the development of a design brief and to carry out photometric studies.
An incredibly wide range of photometries is available to the Lighting Design Engineers, who also have the latest and most powerful software and hardware at their disposal. Naturally, they utilise our own software package, called TURBO Light, plus CADL (Computer Aided Design for Lighting), a very comprehensive lighting design package that we have written, which works within AutoCAD®, plus many other specialist software tools.
