Kennedy Park, Galway, Ireland
Kennedy Park lies in the heart of historic Galway. The park, adjoining footpaths and roads are now lit with Hestias, fitted with 150W CDM-T lamps, mounted at a height of 8m on pale grey columns.
Background
Part of the new landscaping for the park involved the addition of steps that lead pedestrians up towards a raised paved area, which contains flagpoles and benches. Plain white Noctis Mini LED units are recessed into the stair risers to light the way, whilst 13 blue Noctis highlight the benches and flagpoles.
A curved walkway also runs through the park and this is lit by Noctis Mini on a colour change sequence. A number of larger Noctis 225, also add to the atmosphere by lighting up the more mature trees that are scattered around the park.
