Lamp

  • High Pressure Sodium 4 x 150W/250W/400W tubular, or a combination thereof.

Control Gear

  • Fitted to 4 No separate trays, secured to framework.

Protection

  • Self-resetting thermal cut-out fitted in ballast.

Optical Unit

  • Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1312 bonded to a flat glass or curved tempered glass (CTG) protector. Up to 250W only.
  • Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1289 bonded to a flat glass or curved tempered glass (CTG) protector.
  • Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1312 bonded to a polycarbonate hemispherical protector, via a transition plate.
  • Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising symmetrical reflector No 1289 bonded to a polycarbonate hemispherical protector, via a transition plate.

Canopy

  • Moulded GRP, finished with a black or white fire retardant and fade resistant Gelcoat. Secured to frame by means of 4 No screws and central M12 eyebolt (for ease of handling and installation).

Frame

  • Fabricated mild steel, having stoved black or white finish (using polyester powder coating process over zinc phosphate). Incorporates 114mm diameter mounting spigot.

Body

  • Moulded GRP, finished with a black or white fire retardant and fade resistant Gelcoat. Secured to frame by means of 4 No screws and central M12 eyebolt (for ease of handling and installation).

Optic Carrier

  • Each optic unit is secured to frame via an aluminium optic carrier. This carrier is held by a piano-style hinge and 3 No. quick release fasteners, when lowered giving access to the control gear and lampholder for that optic.

PECU

  • Option. Fitted to canopy, (using watertight gasket) and wired to lantern control gear. Typically 2 No. 'Microstar' (70 lux).

Installation Information

Mounting:

  • Post-top via a 120mm max diameter spigot
  • Supplied with anti-rotation device
  • Penetration of spigot into lantern: 280-320mm

Photometric Centre:

  • 400mm from spigot centre.

Optic Orientation:

  • Each optic can be adjusted independently of the others and of lantern orientation, through 360°, with graduations printed on optic to assist in the aiming.

Options

Design

  • Lantern painted to any British Standard or RAL colour.
  • Hemispherical protectors heat formed in frosted, tinted, opal or Partially Obscuring Non Diffusing (POND) polycarbonate.
  • Lantern available with 3, 5 and 6 optics. (5 and 6 optic versions are larger than the dimensions quoted above. Please call Urbis Lighting for these details.)
