Control Gear

Optical Unit
- Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1200 bonded to a 1-piece heat formed, clear polycarbonate protector bowl via a transition plate. Available only on Saturn 500.
- Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1543 bonded to a 1-piece heat formed, clear polycarbonate protector bowl via a transition plate. Available only on Saturn 500.
- Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1312 bonded to a 1-piece heat formed, clear polycarbonate protector bowl via a transition plate. (Up to 250W only.)
- Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising reflector No 1289 bonded to a 1-piece heat formed, clear polycarbonate protector bowl via a transition plate.
Standard Saturn 500/700
Canopy:
- The Saturn 500/700 has a heat formed opal acrylic upper hemisphere, secured to the body by 3 non corrodible screws and sealed with silicone.
Support Ring:
- The Saturn 500/700 has a heat formed opal acrylic upper hemisphere, secured to the body by 3 non corrodible screws and sealed with silicone.
PECU:
- Option. Fitted to canopy (using a water tight gasket) and wired to lantern control gear. Type 'Microstar' (70 lux).
Suspended Saturn 500/700
Canopy:
- Upper hemisphere is made of spun aluminium having a stoved white finish and secured to a spun support ring (Saturn 500) or an extruded and rolled aluminium support ring (Saturn 700), having a stoved black finish, by means of 3 non corrodible screws and sealed with silicone. Both the canopy and ring use a polyester powder coating process over a RoHS-compliant chrome passivation substrate.
- Alternatively a one piece spinning can be used with a stoved white or black finish (using polyester powder coating process over a RoHS-compliant chrome passivation substrate). (Saturn 500 only.)
PECU:

Installation Information
Mounting:
Standard Saturn
- The Saturn 500 can be side entry mounted, using an optional adapter with socket and grub screws for mounting on a 60mm bracket with a 32mm diameter horizontal spigot
- Alternatively the Saturn 500 & 700 can be post top mounted using an optional VT adapter. These adapters are available for the Saturn 500 for column diameters of 60, 76 and 89mm. The VT adapters for the Saturn 700 are available for column diameters of 89, 114 and 140mm
Suspended Saturn
- Suspended from the top of the canopy, by means of a 1¼" B.S.P. parallel threaded mild steel tube for the Saturn 500 or a 1½" B.S.P. parallel threaded mild steel tube for the Saturn 700. Both are secured by using lock nuts

- Photometric centre is positioned centrally in the lantern body

Options
Design:
- Protector bowl (lower hemisphere) can be also supplied in frosted, tinted, opal or Partially Obscuring Non Diffusing (POND) polycarbonate
- Upper hemisphere can be supplied in heat formed polycarbonate which can be formed in various colours. (Standard Saturn only.)
- Upper hemisphere can be made of spun aluminium, which can be painted to any British Standard or RAL colour.
- The supporting ring can be painted to any British Standard or RAL colour
- Deflector can be fitted for top illumination 'glow'. (Polycarbonate upper hemisphere only.)
