Lamp

  • High Pressure Sodium 150W/250W/400W/600W tubular.

Control Gear

  • Fitted within lantern body, on easily-removable galvanized sheet metal gear tray, complete with isolating plugs and sockets.

Protection

  • Self-resetting thermal cut-out fitted in ballast. Timed cut out ignitor.

Optical Unit

  • Sealsafe® comprising reflector type 1289, with flat glass, low profile glass or curved tempered glass. Fully adjustable lamp position, suitable for lamps up to 400W (when using the 1289, the lamp holder is located at the rear of the lantern). Multiple photometric distributions available. Sealed to a tightness rating of IP66.
  • Sealsafe® comprising reflector type 1869, with flat glass, low profile glass or curved tempered glass. Fully adjustable lamp position, suitable for lamps up to 600W (when using the 1869, the lamp holder is located at the front of the lantern). Multiple photometric distributions available. Sealed to a tightness rating of IP66.

Body

  • Body is made from high pressure die cast aluminium, grade 47100 (EN1706) and is sealed to IP43. Body sealed to IP65 is also available.

Canopy

  • Canopy is made from high pressure die cast aluminium, grade 47100 (EN1706).

NEMA

  • Fitted to canopy (using watertight gasket and 4 non-corrodible screws), and wired to lantern control gear.

Installation Information

Mounting:

  • Horizontal on a 60mm diameter bracket arm with 110mm penetration. Locking by two grub screws.
  • Vertical on a 76mm diameter spigot with 100mm penetration. Vertical mounting set to give 5° inclination or separate internal adaptor available for 0°.

Photometric Centre:

  • Distance from back of lantern to photometric centre: 500mm using 1289 reflector or 400mm using 1869 reflector.
