Optical Unit

  • Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising high purity aluminium louvre set bonded to a cast cylindrical acrylic protector, via a spun support.
  • Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam optic comprising a glass refractor bonded to a cast cylindrical acrylic protector, via a spun support.

Body

  • Die-cast aluminium, in two parts, having stoved black finish (using polyester powder coating process over a RoHS-compliant chrome passivation substrate). Top body casting forms part of the Sealsafe® optic unit and is hinged from the lower casting by means of a stainless steel hinge and 2 No. stainless steel closing bolts. When raised gives access to lampholder and control gear compartment.

Frame

  • Consists of 2 No. stainless steel supporting tubes, 20mm in diameter with optional 'handle' connecting uprights over top of lantern. The frame is available with a brushed matt or bright electropolished finish.

Canopy

  • The canopy consists of a smaller upper skirt and a larger lower skirt. These skirts are spun, 1.6mm thick aluminium, having stoved black finish as above (but with the underside finished white). Each skirt can come in one of three styles.

PECU

  • Option. Fitted to base casting, (using a watertight gasket) and wired to lantern control gear. Type 'Microstar' (70 lux).

Installation Information

Mounting:

  • Lower body casting incorporates a socket and grub screws for mounting onto a 76mm diameter column-top spigot with 84mm penetration.

Photometric Centre:

  • Vertical distance from base of lantern to photometric centre: 0.6m
