Lamp

Protection

  • Self-resetting thermal cut-out fitted in ballast.

Optical Unit

  • Sealsafe® comprising reflector type 1419 (asymmetric), of high purity aluminium (electro brightened and anodised), with curved VHR glass protector. Sealed to a tightness rating of IP66. Used in the Onyx 2.
  • Sealsafe® comprising reflector type 1399 (asymmetric), of high purity aluminium (electro brightened and anodised), with curved VHR glass protector. Sealed to a tightness rating of IP66. Used in the Onyx 3.

Body

  • Two piece high pressure die-cast aluminium with stoved paint finish. This hinges open for maintenance and is secured in the closed position by means of a spring clip.

NEMA

  • Fitted to canopy (using watertight gasket and 4 non-corrodible screws), and wired to lantern control gear.

Mounting:

  • Horizontal on a 60mm diameter bracket arm, with 120mm penetration
  • Vertical on a 60mm or 76mm diameter column, with 90mm penetration
