Description
- Boreal is a luminaire designed by Laurent Fachard, reminiscent of the historic coloured Venetian lanterns, made of translucent paper. The Boreal ensemble is specially designed for urban animation and to create a festive atmosphere.
Lantern
- The Boreal luminaire has a body made of cast aluminium and a clear acrylic wrap-around diffuser. The body is protected against corrosion by a baked polyester powder coating. All parts inside the luminaire are made of aluminium.
- The wrap-around diffuser is encircled by a stainless steel perforated mask, which creates festive luminous effects. Several versions are available. Optionally, a coloured dichroic filter can also be incorporated.
- The optical compartment provides a tightness level of IP66. It has a refractor and upper reflector providing symmetrical lighting.
- Access to the lamp and control gear is via three captive screws located under the luminaire. The control gear is mounted on a removable plate.
- Available lamp options:
- Ceramic Metal Halide 150W tubular.
- Induction 165W.
Column
- Tapered column made of thermo-lacquered galvanised steel.
- Recommended installation heights between 4 and 6 metres.
Bracket
- Twin or single arm bracket in cast aluminium.
