Protection

Optical Unit

  • Sealsafe® comprising reflector type 1289 (asymmetric) with flat glass, curved tempered glass (CTG), deep methacrylic bowl (100W/150W/250W), deep or low-profile (100W/150W/250W) polycarbonate bowl protectors. Low profile polycarbonate bowl in two sizes: 100W/150W and 250W. Sealed to a tightness rating of IP66. Polycarbonate and methacrylic protectors not available with 400W lamp option.

Canopy

  • Two-piece moulded polypropylene with hinged joint, black in colour, resistant to U.V. radiation and ageing, and protecting lantern interior to a rating of IP43. Moveable part of canopy secured in closed position by means of two stainless steel clips.

Body

  • High pressure die-cast aluminium with stoved glycerophtalic paint finish.

NEMA

  • Fitted to canopy (using watertight gasket and 4 non-corrodible screws), and wired to lantern control gear.

Installation Information

Mounting:

  • Horizontal on a 60mm, 48mm or 42mm diameter bracket arm with 100mm penetration. Locking by means of two M10 stainless steel Allen screws.
  • Vertical on a 60mm diameter column or 76mm with intermediate galvanised steel adaptor (Urbis ref: VT76/60), with 75mm penetration. Locking by means of two M10 stainless steel Allen screws.
