Control Gear

  • Fitted within the IP66 lantern body.

Protection

  • Self-resetting thermal cut-out fitted in ballast.
  • Digital timed cut-out ignitor.

Optical Unit

  • Injection moulded polycarbonate protector with a variety of photometric options.
    • Indirect
      • 1863 - aluminium reflector
      • 1911 - dichroic reflector
      • both with adjustable top reflector (0° to 30° in 5° steps) to give either symmetrical or asymmetrical distribution.
    • Direct
      • μR®(micro-reflector) 1659 asymmetrical Sealsafe® IP66 sealed beam.

Body & Canopy

  • Die-cast aluminium, in three parts. Finished in polyester powder flecked grey (AKZO 900) paint. Access to lamp and gear is via latch on canopy. The Flexis® vertical drawer disconnects electrical supply and allows lamp replacement.

Mounting

  • Lower body casting incorporates a socket and grub screws for mounting on a 60mm diameter column-top spigot.

PECU

  • Option. Fitted to base casting, (using watertight gasket) and wired to lantern control gear. Type 'Microstar' (70 lux).

Installation Information

Mounting:

  • Vertical on a 60mm diameter column top with 70mm penetration. For flush fitting appearance between column and lantern use 76mm diameter column with 60mm diameter spigot.
