Schreder have recently announced details of the new Auroralia Awards 2009

The goal of the award is to reward 3 cities that have implemented a system of exterior lighting that minimises the negative environmental footprint and, better still, that maximises the positive environmental footprint in the most noticeable, exemplary and original way.
With this initiative, LUCI and Schréder wish to share the practices that form the basis of these installations and thereby enable as many cities as possible to adopt them or draw inspiration from them.
The panel of judges is composed not only of independent professionals, many of whom are employed by the specialised trade magazines, but also of representatives from cities that are leading the way in the area of sustainable development.
